About The Position

This role is responsible for managing account relationships, ensuring customer requirements are met, and overseeing vehicle condition reports and repair approvals. The specialist will walk vehicles to identify reconditioning needs, provide quality service, and resolve customer inquiries. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Lot Operations and Recon departments for vehicle movement and reconditioning, preparing sale vehicle presentations, organizing account vehicles, and ensuring vehicles are ready for sale. The role also emphasizes active participation in safety activities and adherence to all safety and health procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Effective communication and organization skills required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge, etc. helpful.
  • Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, brick, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage account relationships, maintaining effective communications and ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Review and update condition report; approve and audit vehicle repair report.
  • Walk vehicles to make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.
  • Provide quality service and assist in resolving problems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries relating to vehicles.
  • Communicate with Lot Operations and Recon departments to ensure appropriate movement of vehicles to the shops and ensure timely completion of reconditioning.
  • In coordination with account representative, account administrator, and account specific procedures prepare sale vehicle presentation and verify certification/announcements.
  • Work with lot operations for organization of account vehicles.
  • Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.
  • Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
