About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately inputting vehicle information into the AS400 system, affixing identification stickers, and ensuring vehicles are properly routed. The role also involves data protection by removing personal information from vehicles, basic facility and equipment support, and adhering to safety procedures. Additionally, the specialist may assist with driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to work the specified schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 10:00 am- 6:30 pm
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test (excluding marijuana for pre-employment screening, but drug-free workplace policies apply)
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including VIN, stock number, Dealer ID, Make, model, year, mileage, color, and options.
  • Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival.
  • Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
  • Identify and flag “no key” vehicles.
  • Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
  • Inspect and report transport damage as required.
  • Provide proper sale identification windshield codes.
  • Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items.
  • Reset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security.
  • Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance, including keeping the area clean and organized, and reporting equipment issues or malfunctions.
  • Assist with routine upkeep to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities.
  • Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.
