About The Position

This is a part-time role focused on vehicle operations within the auction environment. The specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting vehicle information into the system, affixing identification stickers, and directing transporters. A strong commitment to safety and cooperation with safety leadership is essential. The role may also involve assisting with driving vehicles during auction sales.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction including: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Stock number, Dealer identification number, Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, etc.
