About The Position

This position involves assisting with the repair and maintenance of a diverse fleet of resort vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include working on snowmobiles, ATVs, electric carts, generators, and lawn maintenance equipment. The role may also extend to assisting other mechanics with the repair and maintenance of construction equipment, specialized grooming track vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3-5 years of technical training in the repair and maintenance of gasoline, diesel and electric engines; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong working knowledge of standard practices, methods, tools, materials and equipment of the automotive and mechanical trades
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in various types of vehicles and equipment in the resort fleet while working independently
• Must be able to demonstrate basic welding and fabricating skills
• Ability to use and maintain bench and hand tools, machines and test equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Valid NH Drivers License required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Good physical coordination, flexibility, balance and upper and lower body strength to allow twisting and turning of upper torso while handling components weighing up to 60lbs
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in variable outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of dust, grit, hazardous materials and other vehicle related products/byproducts normally associated with mechanic work.

• CDL-B preferred but not required
