About The Position

IES Commercial Inc dba IES Electrical is looking for a full-time Vehicle Mechanic for our Holdrege, Nebraska shop. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Two years’ recent related experience or education
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair our diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
• Install new equipment
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Assist with inventory and ordering
• Maintain records
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Some travel may be required
