About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately entering vehicle information into the AS400 computer system using a handheld device. This includes details such as VIN, stock number, dealer identification, make, model, year, mileage, color, and options for each vehicle received at the auction. The specialist will also affix barcode/stock number stickers, associate tracker devices, and place work order and routing labels on vehicles. Additionally, they will flag "no key" cars, direct transporters, report transport damage, and take digital images of vehicles upon receipt. A strong commitment to safety procedures and collaboration with safety leadership is expected. Other duties as assigned by management are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana pre-employment drug test is not administered, but drug-free workplace policies apply).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Input accurate information into the AS400 computer using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the auction including: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stock number dealer identification number make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
  • Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received
  • Associate tracker device to WO# and install in OBD port or strap GEN II tracker around steering wheel
  • Place work order number and routing labels on vehicle upon entry
  • Flag "no key" cars
  • Direct transporter to proper car drop zone
  • Report transport damage as needed
  • Take digital images of vehicle upon receipt
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behavior related to such
  • Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with safety excellence
  • Preform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
