About The Position

City Limits Subaru is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to acquire vehicles from the service drive for the used vehicle department. The role involves purchasing customers’ vehicles directly or, ideally, trading them into a new vehicle. The position has no direct reports.

The work may involve frequent test drives across a variety of car models, including in low light or adverse weather. The environment can include loud noises, odors, and high activity. The role requires safely driving vehicles in varied weather and road conditions and may involve extended periods sitting, walking, or standing in different weather and temperature conditions, along with other physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Complete transactions and interactions in a manner that builds long-term customer relationships.
• Research and understand market pricing daily.
• Identify vehicles that meet the standards of City Limits Subaru’s used-car demographics.
• Stay current on online auction platforms and other vehicle appraisal options.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with auction personnel.
• Purchase customers’ vehicles directly or seek to trade them into a new vehicle.
