VC-25A Product Support Supply Chain Manager (Supply Chain Support)
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager to support the team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves inventory management of aircraft kitted and rotatable parts, consumables, and emergent parts. It also includes toolroom management, facilities management, plant and equipment maintenance, technical management of the external supply chain, and coordination with third-party vendors. The manager will develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, set operational goals, acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements. Additionally, they will develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners, provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, participate in equipment make/buy decisions, and provide technical oversight of suppliers. The role also involves managing, developing, and motivating employees. To be considered, candidates must complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- 3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
- Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
