About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager to support the team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves managing inventory of aircraft parts, toolroom, facilities, and plant equipment maintenance. The manager will also oversee the external supply chain, coordinate with third-party vendors, develop and execute project plans, implement policies, set operational goals, acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, lead process improvements, and build relationships with customers and stakeholders. Additionally, the position requires providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, participating in make/buy decisions and source selection, and managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
