National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Vascular Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., or part-time work of at least three days per week. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians learn from wound-certified physician trainers and fellowship directors and use modern wound care technologies and modalities. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year.
