About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a physician for a mobile, bedside wound-care practice in Greenville, North Carolina. The role involves providing modern wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visit two to three facilities per day within a 40–60-mile radius, and treat approximately 20–30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated typical schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound-care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians reportedly earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The listed annual pay range is $200,000–$350,000.
