About The Position
Vohra is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The role is a mobile practice, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays, generally Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
