About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least 3 days per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits; the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. This is a W2 employment position, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
