General Surgeon - Greenville, NC
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and visit two to three facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time scheduling. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
