About The Position

The Van Driver/Warehouse position is responsible for customer deliveries, including packing orders, planning delivery routes, handling delivery paperwork, providing customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle and its maintenance records. The role also supports warehouse operations by receiving and shipping materials, organizing the warehouse, and preparing customer orders. The employee works with other branches to provide customers across the network with a consistent level of service.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Oral and written communication skills.
Ability to balance multiple tasks.

Able to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing, and lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
Inspect the vehicle for safety and maintain it, including keeping it clean and maintaining maintenance records.
Check in and put away stock.
Help maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Pull and prepare orders for delivery.
Back up counter employees by assisting with orders and customers at the counter.
Assist with Stock Take counting.
Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Pack delivery orders, map delivery routes, and handle delivery paperwork.
Receive and ship materials.
Work with other branches to support consistent customer service.
