About The Position

The Van Driver/Warehouse position handles customer deliveries, including packing orders, mapping routes, completing delivery paperwork, providing customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle and its maintenance records. The position also supports warehouse operations by receiving and shipping materials, organizing stock, and preparing customer orders. The employee works with other branches to help ensure consistently high service across the network. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Oral and written communication skills.
Ability to balance multiple tasks.
Customer-service focus.
Team-oriented, open-minded, and ambitious, with a desire to grow within the organization.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb, and to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations.
Inspect the vehicle for safety, maintain its cleanliness, and keep maintenance records.
Pack and pull customer orders for delivery, map delivery routes, and handle delivery paperwork.
Check in and put away stock.
Help keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Support counter employees with orders and customers.
Assist with Stock Take counts.
Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Work with other branches to support consistent customer service.
