Full Time Van Delivery Driver
About The Position
Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a Van Delivery Driver for its Appleton, Wisconsin location. The role delivers products to wholesale customers using a variable daily route, while also assisting with store operations before or after the route. Drivers are expected to deliver courteously, accurately, and on time, and to operate the van professionally and safely. The position also includes order picking and customer service, as well as tasks involving point-of-sale transactions, asset security, receiving and merchandising products, product rotation and quality, and organizing store areas.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or a related field are preferred.
- An unrestricted standard operator's license is required.
- Must have a clean driving record, with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
- Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience.

Responsibilities
- Accurately locate and pick in-store orders for wholesale customers.
- Build and maintain good customer relationships through accurate and timely deliveries of GFS products.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
- Assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route.
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently through the point of sale.
- Protect cash, checks, and merchandise by following security policies and procedures.
- Receive and merchandise products accurately, ensuring proper rotation and product quality.
- Execute end-cap and planogram requirements and organize top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom areas.
