About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a full-time Van Delivery Driver at its Cincinnati, Ohio location. The role delivers products to Wholesale customers on a variable daily route, with a focus on courteous, accurate, and timely service and safe, professional vehicle operation. Drivers also assist with store operations before or after completing their route, including customer transactions and stocking and organizing merchandise. Pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
An unrestricted Standard Operators License is required.
Must have a clean driving record, with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must successfully pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report (MVR).
Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience.

Responsibilities

Accurately locate and pick in-store orders for Wholesale customers.
Build and maintain good customer relationships.
Deliver Gordon Food Service products accurately and on time.
Operate the van professionally and safely, demonstrating attention to detail and safe work habits.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
Assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently through the point of sale.
Protect cash, checks, merchandise, and other assets by following policies and procedures.
Receive and merchandise products accurately, maintaining proper rotation and product quality.
Execute end-cap and planogram requirements and organize top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom areas.
