About The Position

The Van Delivery Driver delivers food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers while building customer relationships. The work involves local travel, and drivers return home every day. Drivers unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds during their shift and may occasionally assist other drivers with deliveries. The position is based at 525 N State St, York, PA 17403, with travel to the Aberdeen, Maryland location every other Friday to assist with recoveries and deliveries. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 4:00 a.m. and continuing until the work is completed. Every other Friday, the driver works from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. making deliveries out of the Aberdeen location. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a commercial driver's license.
Have one year of previous driving experience and one year of experience in customer service or a related field.
Be able to travel to Aberdeen every other Friday to assist with recoveries.
Be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanner information, signage, company website information, and paperwork, and to follow verbal instructions.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Have a clean driving record meeting DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.

Responsibilities
