About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a full-time Van Delivery Driver at its Findlay, Ohio location. The driver delivers products to wholesale customers on a variable daily route, providing courteous, accurate, and timely service while operating the van safely and professionally. The role also assists with store operations before or after completing the delivery route, including checkout, asset security, receiving, and merchandising.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Unrestricted Standard Operator’s License.
Clean driving record, with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years.
Successfully pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
Able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
Able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous delivery driving experience.
At least one year of customer service experience or experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

Accurately locate and pick in-store orders for wholesale customers.
Build and maintain good customer relationships through accurate and timely deliveries.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
Secure cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies and procedures.
Receive and merchandise products accurately, maintaining product rotation and quality.
Execute end-cap and planogram requirements and maintain top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization.
Assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route.
