About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a full-time Van Delivery Driver at its Macedonia, Ohio location. The role is responsible for courteous, timely, and accurate product deliveries on a variable daily route, operating the van professionally and safely, and demonstrating attention to detail and safe work habits. The driver also assists with store operations before or after completing the route. Delivery duties include locating and picking wholesale customer orders in-store, building and maintaining customer relationships, completing accurate and timely deliveries, and conducting daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment. In-store duties include processing customer purchases at the point of sale, safeguarding cash, checks, and merchandise according to policy, receiving and merchandising products, maintaining product rotation and quality, executing end-cap and planogram displays, and organizing top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom areas. The listed pay is $20–$21 per hour. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the company is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter. At least one year of delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or a related field are preferred.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Unrestricted standard operator's license required.
Must have a clean driving record, with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years.
Must successfully pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous delivery driving experience.
One year of customer service experience or experience in a related field.
