About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet role focuses on safe vehicle handling and creating a seamless, positive experience for clients and customers. The position requires inspecting and parking vehicles safely, communicating with customers, following traffic laws, and reporting safety concerns or unusual events. Employees must arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout their shift. The location requires COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to valid medical or religious accommodation.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license with current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Must meet the location’s COVID-19 vaccination condition of employment, subject to valid medical or religious accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
