About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Valet Attendant to provide guest services and safely move vehicles to and from the garage upon request. The role is hourly, non-exempt, and eligible to earn cash tips in addition to the posted hourly wage. The position is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The duties listed are not exhaustive; the associate may be assigned other job-related duties by a supervisor, including the corporate office.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively in English in written and/or oral forms.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Be able to sprint short distances.
• Be able to stand for long periods, up to 6 or 8 hours with less break.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Be able to work in extreme elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
• Be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest service to each guest.
• Safely move vehicles to and from the garage upon request.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor, including the corporate office.
