About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet Attendant is part of the guest welcome and farewell process, provides guest service, and safely moves vehicles to and from the garage when requested. The position is non-exempt and pays an hourly wage plus cash tips. The posted wage range is $8.50–$10.50 per hour, with tips earned in addition to the hourly rate. The role is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The employee may also be assigned other job-related duties by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively in English in written and/or oral forms.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Be able to sprint short distances.
• Be able to stand for long periods, up to 6 or 8 hours with breaks.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Be able to work in extreme elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
• Be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest service to each guest.
• Safely move vehicles to and from the garage upon request.
