About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet Parking Supervisor plays an integral role in welcoming and farewelling guests, delivering professional, high-quality service, and supporting a positive experience for guests and associates. The supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of the shift and for ensuring that subordinates follow policies approved by SP+ Hospitality. The position is hourly, non-exempt, and eligible to earn cash tips in addition to the posted hourly wage. The posted hourly range is $12.25 to $12.50, plus tips. Eligible employees may participate in the company’s benefits plans. The position is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Requirements

Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Have at least 6 months of guest service experience.
Be able to sprint short distances.
Be able to stand for long periods, up to 6 or 8 hours with breaks.
Be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
Be able to work in extreme weather elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
Be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide and lead others in providing five-diamond/star service to guests to maintain a professional image and ensure guest and client satisfaction.
Ensure the proper functioning of the shift.
Ensure subordinates adhere to policies approved by SP+ Hospitality.
Enhance the well-being of each guest and associate to support positive, memorable parking and employment experiences.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor, including duties assigned by the corporate office.
