Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts•Los Angeles, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Valet Parking Attendant welcomes guests arriving by private car, assists them as they exit their vehicles, and provides valet parking service. When Door Staff is unavailable, the attendant issues the appropriate valet parking ticket. The attendant drives guest vehicles to the hotel or a local garage, follows traffic laws and speed limits, yields to pedestrians, and takes care to avoid damage. Vehicle damage is assessed and recorded on the claim ticket, along with the vehicle’s parking location; keys and tickets are then deposited with the Valet Cashier. When not parking or retrieving vehicles, the attendant opens hotel doors and verbally welcomes guests. The role also involves providing directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions, and hailing taxis as needed. The attendant handles guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodates special requests when possible, resolves complaints, and assists with inquiries about hotel services, operating hours, personnel, and events.
