About The Position

The Valet Parking Attendant is part of the Guest Services team and creates a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests arriving at the hotel or resort. The attendant opens vehicle doors, assists with luggage as needed, parks and retrieves guest vehicles, and helps arrange other forms of transportation. The role also involves sharing knowledge about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area; working with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences; and helping keep the entrance area clean and organized. The position is suited to someone who enjoys engaging with people and providing exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest to the hotel or resort and provide engaging, exceptional customer service.
• Open vehicle doors for guests arriving by motor vehicle.
• Park and retrieve guests’ cars as needed.
• Assist guests with securing other forms of transportation as needed.
• Assist with unloading guests’ luggage as needed.
• Share information about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.
• Work with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences and promptly open doors for arriving guests.
• Assist the lobby attendant in keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
• Go beyond routine service to make a positive difference for guests and employees.
