About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet Parking Supervisor helps provide guests with a warm welcome and fond farewell, delivering and leading others to deliver five-diamond/star service and a professional image to support guest and client satisfaction. The supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of the shift and ensuring subordinates follow SP+ Hospitality-approved policies, while enhancing the well-being of guests and associates and fostering a positive parking or employment experience. The position is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The role is classified as non-exempt and is paid hourly, with tips in addition to the stated rate. The posting notes that associates may also be assigned other job-related duties by a supervisor, including the corporate office.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and orally.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
At least 6 months of guest service experience.
Ability to sprint short distances.
Ability to stand for long periods, up to 6 or 8 hours with less break.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
Ability to work in extreme elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
