About The Position

Lead the valet team at a busy full-service hotel in Montclair, New Jersey. Run the shift, keep the drive moving, and ensure every guest has a smooth arrival and departure. The role pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus cash tips and is available as full-time or part-time work. Shifts are afternoons and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading a valet, parking, or hotel front-of-house team, such as bell, door, or front desk staff.
• Valid driver's license and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Availability for afternoons/evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Valet experience at a full-service or luxury hotel.
• Cash handling or revenue control experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Run the valet operation during the assigned shift, assign posts, manage the stand, and keep wait times down.
• Train and coach valet attendants on guest service, safe driving, and key control.
• Resolve guest concerns and vehicle issues professionally and calmly.
• Coordinate with the hotel's front desk, bell staff, and management regarding arrivals, events, and VIPs.
• Handle tickets and cash and accurately prepare end-of-shift revenue reports.
• Support scheduling and track team hours for payroll.
• Enforce Propark and hotel safety standards and policies.
