About The Position

SP+ is seeking safe, customer-focused Valet Drivers to park vehicles and provide a seamless transportation experience. The role involves interacting with customers, responding to requests and concerns, inspecting vehicles, explaining valet rates, and driving and parking vehicles safely. Employees are expected to arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout each scheduled shift. Additional duties may be assigned by management. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing or balancing, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find ways to address problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers' transportation needs.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
