About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The company operates a large parking network with over 23,000 employees at more than 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver role involves safely parking customer vehicles, interacting with customers, and helping provide a seamless transportation experience. Drivers are expected to work scheduled shifts in a clean, complete uniform and support management with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
• Provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to support customers’ transportation needs.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
