About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The company operates a parking network across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver delivers customer service while safely parking and retrieving vehicles, communicating proactively with clients, and supporting the parking operation. The role pays $16.00–$17.00 per hour plus tips and includes a $500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $250 after 30 days and $250 after 60 days.

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license with current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, use hands to handle cash and equipment, occasionally sit and climb or balance, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers' transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
