About The Position

The Housekeeper performs evening turndown service at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, preparing guest rooms and bathrooms for the night. Duties include turning down beds, arranging guest-room items, replenishing supplies, adjusting room settings, replacing used linens and amenities, and leaving a good-night card or wish with a mint and breakfast menu. The position follows a variable schedule, generally from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Turn down the bed, pull back a sheet corner, and place the TV remote and HBO guide on it.
Turn on the bedside light and radio.
Refill the ice bucket and place glasses, coffee, and napkins.
Close blinds, draw drapes, and check the air-conditioner setting.
Replace used towels, robes, and bath mats as needed.
Empty and clean ashtrays and wastebaskets.
Straighten the bathroom, wipe out the tub, re-point the tissue, and replace used amenities.
Place toiletry articles on a washcloth on the Powder Room vanity.
Leave a card or good-night wish with a mint and breakfast menu on the nightstand.
