About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a Caregiver for the second shift and offers a $500 sign-on bonus. Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, helping with household tasks, and engaging residents in meaningful conversations. Depending on state regulations, training or certification may be required. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents and recognize their individual needs.
- Encourage residents’ independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
