About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. It operates a large parking network across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver role involves safely parking customer vehicles, providing professional customer service, and supporting a seamless transportation experience. Drivers inspect vehicles before parking, explain valet rates, follow traffic laws, and report safety issues or unusual occurrences. The role also requires arriving on time in a clean uniform and assisting management with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, use hands to handle cash and equipment, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Use knowledge of major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
