About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. SP+ operates a large parking network with more than 23,000 employees at over 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver helps provide a safe, seamless experience for parking customers by inspecting and parking vehicles, explaining rates, and responding professionally to customer needs. The role requires safe driving, knowledge of the local area, and adherence to uniform and workplace procedures. The position is located in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Requirements

• Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide valid documentation establishing eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
• Provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including regularly standing, walking, and handling cash and equipment; occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive client experience by resolving requests and concerns efficiently, finding solutions to problems, and communicating proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
