About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Valet Driver for the Emery Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role focuses on safely parking customer vehicles and providing a smooth, helpful customer experience. The posted pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, plus tips; a separate section lists $17.00 per hour plus tips. Eligible employees may participate in company benefit plans.

Requirements

Valid state driver's license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
Ability to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing; occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, look for solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers' transportation experience.
Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
