About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet Driver role involves safely parking customer vehicles and providing courteous customer service. The position is seasonal and located in Walnut Creek, California. The listed pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Have a valid state driver's license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
Provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
Provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.
Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note any findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Respond promptly and courteously to customer questions.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways and provide directions to customers when needed.
Arrive on time for every scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
