About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking safe Valet Drivers who enjoy interacting with people. The role focuses on delivering a positive client experience by addressing requests and concerns, solving problems, and communicating proactively. Valet Drivers inspect and safely park vehicles, explain rates, follow traffic laws, and report accidents, hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations. They should know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways and arrive on time in a clean uniform, remaining in uniform throughout their shift. The position is located in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license with current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Regularly stand and walk and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit and climb or balance; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers' transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
