About The Position

SP+ is seeking a safe, customer-focused Valet Driver for the Westin Hotel. The role involves delivering a seamless parking and transportation experience by safely inspecting and parking vehicles, explaining valet rates, and responding professionally to customer requests and concerns. The position is listed for weekend work, with morning and evening shifts. The stated hourly range is $16.00–$17.00, with tips eligible in addition to the posted rate.

Requirements

• Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide valid documentation proving eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
• Communicate accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Be able to stand and walk regularly, handle cash and equipment, occasionally sit and climb or balance, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know local major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation needs.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
