About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Valet/Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) to provide safe vehicle parking and shuttle transportation while delivering a positive customer experience. The position requires willingness to work both valet and shuttle-driver duties and open availability for first, second, third, and weekend shifts. The role pays $21.00 per hour plus tips. Employees must arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout their shifts.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
Availability to work special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends; open availability is requested.
Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States, with valid documentation provided if hired.
Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
Ability to stand and walk regularly, handle cash and equipment, occasionally sit and climb or balance, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support seamless transportation for customers.
Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
Perform both valet and shuttle-driver duties.
