About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a service-oriented Bellman/Valet at the Ritz-Carlton on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, Florida. The role pays $15.00 plus tips.

The Bellman/Valet helps create a seamless guest arrival and departure experience by transporting luggage and escorting guests to their rooms in a professional, friendly manner. The role prioritizes the safety of guests’ belongings and the delivery of high-quality hospitality throughout their visit. Candidates must have flexible availability; PM shifts and weekends are strongly preferred. The position may also require special shifts, including second or third shift, and work on weekends.

The work involves regular standing and walking, handling or feeling with the hands, and speaking and listening. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and are regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as well as high noise levels and vehicle fumes. Safety awareness is essential when working in and around traffic.

Requirements

• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Flexible availability to work special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.
• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States, with valid documentation required if hired.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, handle or feel with the hands, talk, and listen.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Safety-consciousness while working in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous experience as a valet.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability for PM shifts and weekends is strongly preferred.
