The company is reinventing parking and aims to make everyday experiences more remarkable by giving people back time. The Valet Attendant position is located at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida. The pay rate is $12 per hour plus tips. Valet Attendants provide guest service in a fast-paced environment, operate and park vehicles safely, and support smooth site operations. Previous valet experience is required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
- Valid state driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and coworkers.
- Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the United States if hired.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Remain alert and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift).
- Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Resolve guest requests and concerns efficiently, using creative solutions when problems arise.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide directions to guests.
- Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to customers.
- Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note and report any findings.
- Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Immediately report accidents, safety hazards, and policy violations to management.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and ready to work.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform throughout each shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned to support smooth operations.
