The Valet Attendant role is located at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach and offers $12 per hour plus tips. Requirements

Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
A valid state driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
Ability to follow instructions and remain calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
Must be able to occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Must remain alert and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to drive a manual transmission is a strong plus.
Flexible availability for special shifts, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Resolve guest requests and concerns efficiently, using creative solutions when problems arise.
Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide directions.
Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to customers.
Inspect vehicles before parking and note and report any findings.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Immediately report accidents, safety hazards, and policy violations to management.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be ready to work.
Maintain a clean, complete uniform throughout each shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
