About The Position

The Valet Attendant makes an exceptional impression on every guest by engaging with guests and customers in a positive, friendly manner and providing safe and efficient service. The schedule is flexible, with shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

Proficient in English, verbally and in writing.
Be friendly and outgoing, and able to smile during customer interactions.
Have an upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Be able to run and move quickly.
Be able to organize cars efficiently.
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residency.
Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Be able to create relationships with customers.
Be organized.
Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.

Responsibilities

Keep the safety of self and others in mind.
Operate vehicles safely to minimize the potential for accidents.
Keep track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
Provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain organization at the operation.
Create a positive environment for customers and teammates through enthusiasm about the job.
Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
Help facilitate the transition at the end of the shift.
Maintain a sharp, neat appearance and grooming at all times.
Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
Adhere to the VPNE attendance policy.
