About The Position

The Valet Attendant makes an exceptional impression on every guest by engaging with guests and customers in a positive, friendly manner and providing safe, efficient service. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to smile during customer interactions.
• Upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and strong work ethic.
• Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
• Ability to run and move quickly.
• Ability to organize cars efficiently.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Organized.
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider.

Responsibilities

• Keep the safety of oneself and others in mind at all times.
• Operate vehicles safely to minimize the potential for accidents.
• Keep track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
• Provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain organization at the operation.
• Be enthusiastic and create a positive environment for customers and teammates.
• Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
• Help facilitate the transition at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a sharp appearance and neat grooming at all times.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Adhere to VPNE’s attendance policy.
