About The Position

LAZ Parking is hiring a part-time Valet Attendant at the Baylor Scott & White healthcare location in Irving. The attendant is a key part of the customer experience, welcoming clients and customers on arrival and providing professional service when they depart. The role involves parking and retrieving vehicles, supporting orderly traffic flow, and building positive rapport with customers. Paid training is provided. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The role is non-exempt and tipped.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Valid driver license held for at least two years.
• Must have required vaccinations: TDAP, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, TB skin test, and seasonal flu shot.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently during a shift.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve vehicles carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Greet customers, attend to their needs, and develop rapport with them.
• Help direct traffic and maintain an orderly flow of vehicles.
• Promote positive customer relations through a welcoming, professional approach.
• Work independently or with supervision as needed.
