About The Position
As a Valet Attendant, you will help create a positive first impression for guests by providing efficient and courteous valet services. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist guests as they arrive and depart, manage traffic around the valet stand, and coordinate with other attendants to use parking spaces effectively. The role also involves communicating with guests, colleagues, and casino staff, and visually inspecting vehicles for damage or other issues. This is a tipped position.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a valet attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely and responsibly park and retrieve guests' vehicles in designated areas.
- Operate guests' vehicles with a high level of care and attention.
- Assist guests with opening doors and retrieving belongings, and help ensure a smooth transition to and from their vehicles.
- Manage traffic flow at the valet stand to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Coordinate with other valet attendants to optimize parking space usage.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and casino staff.
- Conduct basic visual inspections of guests' vehicles for damage or other issues, and promptly and accurately report any findings.
