About The Position

The Poultry Vaccine Delivery & Support Specialist plans, coordinates, and delivers frozen poultry vaccines. The role uses inventory and order management systems to track and document vaccine orders, deliveries, and chain of custody, and supports oversight of customer vaccine application processes. The specialist works with the Vaccine Delivery Manager, Poultry Account Managers, Poultry Marketing, Global Manufacturing & Supply, and Managed Service teams to support efficient, timely, and equitable vaccine delivery while meeting customer expectations and safety and regulatory standards.

The specialist trains and educates customers on best practices for vaccine mixing and handling, and audits day-of-age spray applications. The ideal location is in or around Marietta, Georgia. The position is full-time and regular.

Requirements

• Two years of planning or scheduling experience using an automated system, or related experience.
• Proficient organizational and route-planning skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAP, Office suite, and Salesforce.
• Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints.
• Understanding of logistics and regulatory standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the United States for Zoetis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, business administration, or a similar field is preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Poultry industry knowledge and awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, prioritize product allocations, optimize inventory availability, and plan routes to fulfill customer orders.
• Deliver products required to meet customer needs in the assigned territory.
• Build customer relationships and loyalty to Zoetis poultry products and services.
• Train and evaluate customers on the proper and effective use and application of Zoetis products.
• Determine customer training needs and adapt training accordingly.
• Communicate with customers about Zoetis poultry products and services.
• Maintain working knowledge of customer locations to maximize business opportunities.
• Provide quality assurance standards and conduct audits.
• Ensure customers comply with safe handling procedures for frozen vaccines and follow standard operating procedures to maximize vaccine efficacy.
• Oversee and audit customer execution and use of spray cabinets.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming marketing programs and inform customers about potential rebates.
• Support the aligned sales area by monitoring and following up with customers participating in marketing programs and Strategic Portfolio Customer Contracts.
• Provide sales colleagues with updates after customer visits so they can follow up on potential orders and programs.
• Provide effective training and corrective action, and summarize visits clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of, or certifications required for, applicable safety and regulatory requirements for handling and transporting frozen vaccines in liquid nitrogen.
• Maintain and regularly review documentation and communications for customer experience, inventory management, order fulfillment, regulatory, safety, and accounting needs; support audit readiness, traceability, and continuous improvement while following applicable processes, policies, and regulations.
