About The Position

The Utility associate provides cleaning and support services to help maintain sanitary standards. Duties include cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots, and pans with specified chemicals; checking ice, keg beer, bib soda, and CO2 levels and replacing supplies when necessary; and loading and unloading supply trucks. The associate also performs other responsibilities as directed by the business or management. This is a non-exempt position at the Miami Airport F&B location, with advertised compensation of $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.

Responsibilities

Clean equipment, including work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other equipment.
Wash utensils, pots, and pans by hand or in a dishwashing machine, then return them to their proper places.
Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using heavy equipment.
Clean walls and windows, and steam-clean trashcans.
Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of products.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
Load and unload supply trucks.
Check ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas, and CO2 containers, and replace them if necessary.
Follow company security and safety procedures.
Perform other responsibilities as directed by the business or management.
